Happy to report we got a good chunk of Christmas shopping completed today. Unfortunately we aren't finished and still need a few gift cards and one more thing for Ella, which we haven't figured out as of yet.
I feel a sense of completion and satisfaction as everything is almost gotten, yet a sense of anxiety as I still need to wander the isles to find something else for Ella!!!

Picked up a few bottles of wine today. The two brands of Malbec that we usually get weren't on sale so we looked around and one of the 3 bottles we got was a Fat Bastard Shiraz, which we used to drink a lot.
Just sat down and took a sip....Wholly Hannah my cheeks sucked inward and my eyes popped outward!!!!!!!
When ya find a wine ya like even if it isn't on sale don't settle for something you liked years ago... just get the kind ya like and do your cheeks, eyes and tastebuds a favor.

As Coop rests I am managing to work on Teacher Gifts. I feel awful that he is sick and laying around without any energy but am glad that he's able to rest cuddled up with Ebony am I am able to get a few things accomplished.

Josh and I decided to read the Bible over the course of a year. Today was our third day reading or listening to the given readings for the day. We each have different job requirements during the day making listening easier for Josh where I learn better from reading and taking notes.
It's funny but sitting here at 8:49pm we still haven't turned on the tv and we had a solid 20 minutes chatting about what we read today. I shared my notes with him as he had a question regarding the flood and we did a little cross referencing and research to find out more.
I even pulled the CliffNotes for the Old and New Testament off a bookshelf (yes they make CliffNotes for the Bible)....
Very proud of us both :-)

Earlier today Cooper pulled a stool over to the sliding door and flipped the light switch a few times. I asked him what he was doing and he ever so confidently replied :"Trying to turn the snow off!"
