We went to the dollar store after picking Ella up from school. I need to purchase Thanksgiving napkins for Coopers Thanksgiving Day Feast next week. A sign in the window stated that the store is your Thanksgiving Headquarters....I found NO Thanksgiving items, zero, zilch, nada. The store looks like a sleigh threw up...Christmas stuff galore. Think their false advertising is gonna get them in trouble. Hoping the dollar store in Limerick has their Thanksgiving stuff out as I'm headed there tomorrow morning.

Cooper went into the bathroom and lifted the seat to pee, it slammed down as he lost his grip on it and he looks up at me with a face expressing shock he announces: "It didn't pinch my penis." Yeah I'm pretty aware of that fact Buddy cause if it did you'd be screaming!!!

I think it's funny how Cooper gravitates towards all of Ellas' toys when she's at school... doll house, doctor instruments and even her bracelets! It's like an empty toy store, all his!

Ella has adapted to saying one word when she's feeling angry or mad. She took to this on her own and I'm not sure where she got the idea. I read online that parents and children should share a word for this exact thing and that way when the word is said those in the household are aware of how the other is feeling and why one might be saying a word out of context. Imagine the first time I heard her say BAM. This is her chosen word. It's worked and she'll just say it and we will then know she's mad or angry at something or someone. Sometimes we ask her what's up and other times we just continue and if she wants to talk she can. It works well and although we still have screaming and yelling she had gotten used to using this catch word. Unfortunately for me at times I think she's saying "damn" and have to stop myself from questioning her about where she learned that bad word. Thankfully I realize she's saying bam.
