Weeee Road

0

Ella is really into the whole “New” house thing…loves driving by it & counting how many houses in each direction approaching it..
The newest thing is renaming of one of the connecting roads to the road we will be living on.
Those of you who are local may be familiar with Bleim Road. Its windy and up and down and when you drive it fast it gives the roller coaster effect.

We have officially renamed it “The Weeeee Road”.

I imagine I will be hearing wwweeeeee for many years to come!

He’s Escaped

0

I got Cooper up from his nap and he was in his crib while I put his clothing away. Ella was looking out his window. I turn around and there he is standing behind me…the Stinker climbed out of his crib.
I put him back in and Ella watched him and signaled me when he was doing it again…caught him! Explained to him that we don’t climb out cause we can get hurt.
Think this boy is ready for a toddler bed…although I don’t expect him to stay in it!

King & Queen

The King and Queen! Although she does all the dictating.
Wear the crown Cooper, hold this Cooper, walk with me Cooper, sit here a Cooper, dance with me Cooper.
Its really never ending….

Snore Bunny

0

We still use baby monitors for both Ella and Coop…thinking about retiring them once in our new house since we will all be on the same floor.
One sound I will miss is the sound of Coopers baby snore. While the sound of snoring off not at all a pleasant sound, somehow Coopers snore makes me smile. I picture him under his blankets, mouth open at peace…

Goodnight My Loves

0

Josh has a meeting at church tonight so I’m home with the kiddos…I told Ella that she could either stay downstairs or read in her room while I put Coop to bed (rock him, say prayer and sing to him)….She insisted on going along to help put him to bed.
I told her she would have to be quiet. She stood right next to the rocker and listened to prayer (adding a couple people of her own to his prayers) she then sang Jesus Loves Me and stroked Coopers hair while we sang.
I was so proud of her…it honestly was one of the sweetest most memorable moments I have had with them. Some moments of being a parent are more rewarding than others and this was one of those times.
I felt so much love in that room!

Rock, Rock, Rockin’

0

My parents have a big oversized rocking chair/lounge chair….Its funny watching Cooper rock himself. It takes his whole body to get the thing to even budge!
When he’s 15 he’ll be drapped over the thing like a giant in a mini me chair and it will require no effort to rock it!

My Two Eggs

These two popped out of an egg box when I opened it to pack in! SURPRISE!!!!
