Today when picking Ella up after class, Caleb, her one classmate said hi to Cooper. Cooper in his "around people I don't know" manner played bashful. As we turned to leave I turned to Ella and told her to say bye to Caleb. Ella walks closer to Caleb and leans in to kiss him on the cheek! My little girl had her first real boy crush!

Easter baskets almost completed!

I thought to myself while in the dollar store then Walmart that I never thought green party streamers would be so difficult to find....then I remembered St. Patty's Day is right around the corner. Just spent $2.09 at Target for them.....97 cents at Wal-Mart! Gggggggrrrrrrr

Ella and Cooper received Flashlight Friends for Christmas. They are basically stuffed animals with an LED flashlight inside. Ella sleeps with hers and tonight she turned it on as I was singing "You Are My Sunshine" when leaving her room. I kept looking into this light and couldn't help but giggle as I felt like I was on stage looking out into a crowd of one lonely lighter. Famous in my daughter's world :-)

This is the Day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Trying, but struggling to rejoice in the arguing, bickering, tattle tailing, not listening, kicking, hitting and breaking if things. Hoping the Day he makes tomorrow is easier to rejoice in.

I am so thankful for all the hand me downs from friends. Cooper is a very lucky boy....somehow it seems unfair that he has more clothing than his sister! She just watched me load his short drawer with at 15 pairs of shorts all received today!
