I’m 1664 (+1) Weeks Old!

Since my birthday was on a Wednesday, we rescheduled Doggie Daycare for Thursday night.  Megan’s parents took us to Giovanni’s for dinner, they have the best pizza around, and then we went back to their house for Hand & Foot.  Before playing H&F birthday presents magically appeared on the table!  Dora and Kenzie gave me Dora the Explorer cookies.  For those of you who don’t know about my other girlfriend this probably doesn’t make sense, but I understand perfectly!  Megan’s Mom and Dad finally delivered on their promise and gave me my cow, plus a t-shirt to wear when I’m with my cow so she knows that I’m a cow lover!!!  Now for the cleaver part, Mo wrapped the my cow in a box filled with napkins from McDonald’s.  Again, while this doesn’t make that much sense to most people, this was a very thoughtful gift.  Crazy, but thoughtful!  Oh, and dessert was delicious too!

The rest of the week passed and next I know Saturday night was here; the continuation of my birthday!  Dinner at The Melting Pot was at 6:30pm and while it was gave us four hours to have dinner and get down to Helium, it ended up being a perfect amount of time for what I was about to experience.

For those who don’t know, The Melting Pot is a fondue restaurant.  We started of with cheese fondue as an appetizer, which included tortilla chips, bread, fresh vegetables (carrots, broccoli and cauliflower) and apples for dipping.  After a very good salad, dinner was served.  Dinner was a selection of Fillet Mignon, lobster, tenderloin, chicken, tuna and shrimp plus fresh vegetables (mushroom caps, potatoes and squash) that you cooked at your table in your own fondue pot.  Two minutes for steak and chicken, one and a half minutes for everything else.  Because Megan and I only had two fondue sticks each, there was plenty of great conversation between eating our pieces of dinner.  After dinner came dessert and since it’s a fondue restaurant I’m sure you can guess it was great!  A fondue bowl of melted milk chocolate with pieces of cake, fresh fruits, marshmellows, brownies and cheesecake to dip. As you can imagine, the entire dinner was absolutely delicious.  Megan and I both agree though that just having appetizer and dessert would be good, as it’s a lot of food!

After making a quick trip to the Lindt Chocolate store for Matt, we headed to our next event.  Helium Comedy Club is a great club located in Philly.  The showroom is setup perfectly for stand-up comedy, with smaller tables up front and high-top tables in the back.  We saw Brad Trackman, along with the opening comedians, who were all very funny.  One of the funniest moments of the night was when Brad began picking on a person in the audience, who soon afterwards found out he was a police officer.  One would think that Brad would have changed his act, but not at all.  Brad continued picking on him, but now even more so!  I have a feeling that Megan and I will be back to Helium for another show as we both really enjoyed it!

Saturday night is over and so is my birthday…  Oh, that’s right, I still get to see Christina in three days!!!

The answer to your queston is … 1. You are actually making a statement in your quote, not asking a second question. You are stating…”I wonder how many”, not asking “how many”. I may not get A+’s in Computer Shit 101, but Grammer….. definately an easy “A”!
