Night #3 of Cooper screaming his lungs out. Last night it was an hour, let’s see how long he lasts tonight. He is kicking his crib or something for we hear banging.
My heart breaks over him screaming like this….

Before I left Ella for the night she asked me to stay so we could have a sleepover.
So sweet, and someday yes. But not until she:
1. Understands the difference in what is her bed and what is Mommy and Daddys bed. And that we regularly sleep in our own beds and sleepovers are special nights.
2. She learns to sleep without kicking and moving all over the bed!
3. She wears panties to bed. I think sleepovers should be a reward for big girls in undies!
I can’t wait though 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Read Ella Cinderella tonight at bed. When we got to the part in the story that the Fairy Godmother enters the story Ella stops me and says: She’s not a Fairy Godmother.
I asked who she is.
Ella: Person Godmother.
I asked why she is a Person Godmother.
Ella: Because people can’t fly. Fairys can.
Guess she should have written the story using a fairy with wings.
Ella told me she is at work. I asked her what her job is. She told me she fixes computers like Daddy 🙂
Second night in a row that Cooper is crying and screaming when we put him to bed.
Last night we brought him down with us as we thought it was an off night and fed him 2 bananas and then rocked him extra long and he still cried a bit before giving in.
Tonight he acted the same way and we decided to let him cry it out as you do with little babies.
After an hour he has given in….I think….he stopped crying while I write this.
We’ll see how the next few nights go…he may need darkening shades in his room, like we got Ella. He may need a change in his nap times, or he may just need to cry it out until he gets over it.
Tough love…it sucks.
So far today Ella has told me I’m a great Mommy and that I am beautiful!
