So apparently for any parents who wish for their children to not eat all the candy they will receive tonight there is a solution....if your child chooses to fall for the Switch Witch!
You basically give your child(ren) the choice of their candy or giving all their candy to the Switch Witch.in exchange for a really awesome toy or something they really want. Of course they must be in the age group of believing there is such a thing.
You talk it up a week or so before Halloween and find out what your child would be willing to give up all those yummy tidbits of goodness ...and bam...they leave all their candy out Halloween night and the next morning what they asked for is waiting for them!
Now with tonight being Halloween I understand this can't be done so you'd need to think up a clever I Owe You Coupon and take your child tomorrow to get the treat!
It is a clever idea. Let me know if you are going to try the Switch Witch!

I hate to admit it but I love candy corn. I convince myself every year that I don't like them and tell myself I will only eat a handful, so not to bother buying a bag of them...I will finally admit, I like those like colorful corns!
Cooper received 6 of them in his school goodie bag, I ate all 6! Now wishing I had more:/

I know that children go through stages and say things that get under our skin. Right now the word "no" is tops on my list.
Cooper says no because it's his favorite word, he just says it to say it.
Ella is at a talking back stage and says no in defiance of everything asked of her. This results in time out and a nice short talk about how you do what is asked.
What word is tops on your dislike list?

Hoping I am wrong but feel today is going to be the day I have each week that is the worst. One day each week always seems to be noticeably more difficult and challenging than the other days.
So far today I woke up with a horrible sinus headache and pressure along with a runny nose because I took regular Claritan instead of Claritan D, feeling like I drank about 3 bottles of wine (when I didn't drink a thing last night), and then my favorite jeans decided to take a vacation when the zipper busted right out of them.
Let's hope things turn around and that I feel better and the sun comes out soon!
