I realized sitting here that I talked a lot about Coop and his potty training today. I also realized that today is a HUGE first for Josh Cook and me...
After 3 years and 9 months, today was the first day I have not thrown a diaper in the garbage can!! Not including Coopers overnight diaper of course. I think I hear our garbage can grumbling of hunger and our garbage men doing a happy dance!!!!
Happy happy moment, yet sad all the same.

Day #1 of Cooper wearing undies ended in great success! He only had 4 accidents, 2 of which happened during dinner! But he did poop on there potty twice after his accident this morning in his undies!
He had quiet time in a pull up wearing his undies over top and sat on the potty at least 5 times before finally giving in to sleep!
I can not begin to express how proud I am of him!
Way to go Coop...I love you and an sui very proud of you!

Both children resisted naps today. Ella called out 3 times. Once to show me all her friends tucked in nice and neat next to her, second time for a drink of water and the third to show me how she was hugging two of her friends.
Cooper talked for a good hour and 3/4 before finally quieting down at 4:40pm.
Moments like these are moments that I wish I could fast forward as I either let them sleep longer now and have bedtime issues or I get them up and have two crankos!

Ella has demonstrated the true meaning of being a big sister today. She has been encouraging, helpful and understanding to both Cooper and me. I told her this morning that I was going to need her to be my big helper since Cooper was learning to go on the potty and she has done an excellent job...listening, being self sufficient and patient all the while helping both Coop and me! Very proud of her willingness and ability to show me just how much she can do on her own if she really wants to!

The first half of our day ended with Cooper peeing and pooping on the potty! He was on and off the potty for an hour cause he continued to tell me he had to poop! Right before I put him in for quiet time he did it!
He didn't want to wear a diaper or pull up to quiet time but I suggested he wear his underwear over the pull ups and told him Ella did the same thing when she first started to go on the potty and then he was ok with it.
Very proud of my little man, he is so gosh darn adorable in his big boy undies!

The new Nick show Wallykazam is adorable and the theme song is addictive! A word building show like Super Why but with a cute little blue troll and his dragon!

Cooper is funny...he thinks that after you go on the potty you get to wear a new pair of underwear...then he thinks he needs to lay down like when wearing a diaper. Funny how children are....their minds intrigue me..I wish I could take a field trip!
