In the book I'm currently reading the girl mentioned her biology class and the smell the room has do to them dissecting cat brains. That smell immediately crept out from the part of my brain that holds 10th grade, 2nd period biology class in Mr. Dybachs class when we dissected frogs. That smell is one of those smells that no matter how long it has been since you smelled it, it's an odor never forgotten.

I had a post yesterday about Cooper being like a bird when taking him to nap. He gathers all his prized possessions and lays them in his bed just right like a bird who builds a nest gets each piece of straw, stick etc. in the perfect spot. Last night when I took him to bed I asked him if he had everything he wanted in his bed. He replied "too much stuff!" and started to throw toys out of his bed into the floor. Bird by day, growing boy who needs space by night!

Day out and about with the kiddies....normal running and shopping but stopped at BK for lunch. Walked in the front doors and Cooper throws up all over the floor. It came out of no where! A repeat of the trip home from Myrtle Beach this past October! After he threw up, he was ready to eat!

Watching Cooper get his bed ready for nap is like watching a bird build a nest. He collects all his prized possessions from his room and places them on his bed just right. He then lays down, squirms around a bit and repositions things. When all is built correctly his nest is ready for sleeping. Part bird, possibly.

One of those afternoons, both children gave me a hard time with Quiet Time. Cooper called out 5 times in need of something and Ella called out at least 10, ending it all by leaving her room and peeking downstairs at me. She told me she had too much energy from gym class. Needless to say today of all days I needed to rest because my head is killing me from having my eyes dialated this morning.
