Ever since we replaced our mailbox Cooper has been on a wild search for our old mailbox. We told him someone else had our mailbox now as we put it at the end of our driveway and a trash collector took it. In his wild search he looks out his window in the car and every house we pass he asks.... House do you have our mailbox?

For months every time we pass the hospital Cooper has referred to it as Daddy's Work. Each and every time we explain to him that it is a hospital and what a hospital is. Tonight he did it again and I again explained that doctors work there...for some reason after months of this explanation it struck me that we tell Ella and Cooper that Josh Cook is a "doctor" to computers...Coop understood us and our explanation, if Daddy is a doctor for computers he must work at the hospital where doctors work. He isn't a dumb kid. He listened and came to this conclusion on his own!

I asked Ella and Coop what they would like for breakfast. My normal daily routine of multi tasking and doing more than one thing at a time I didn't hear Ellas response. So I asked a second time and her reply to me was.... "I told you jello. Turn your ears on!" Apparently we use that phrase quite often in this house. I told her my ears are on but that I am doing more than one thing and didn't hear her answer.

Witnessed an act today that made my blood boil. Josh, the children and I were exiting Giant and saw a police officer at the Courtesy Desk looking for the owner of a certain car. As we were approaching our car we saw two police SUVs behind the car in question and movement from inside the car. The police officer found the lady who was driving the car and the police officer was reaming the women out! It looked like a young boy 10-12 years of age was in the car with the windows closed. The child was left in the car while the women went into Giant!!! I just do not understand people. I honestly don't know what runs through their minds. Josh and I reminised about our childhood and he recalls his mother leaving him and his sister in the car when she went shopping (she asked them if they wanted to stay in the car our go in with her)...but that was a different time and it wasn't frowned on to do such things. After all the infants and animals that people "forget about" & end up dying, plus the extreme heat it is just unacceptable that someone would let their 10-12 year old in the car with the windows rolled up. I don't know the outcome of what if anything happened to the women or young child. I hope she didn't get off Scott free...I realize there are two sides of the story but wow after the sicko who left his toddler in the car in NJ why would you even think about doing such a thing!

I pushed "brew" on the coffee maker and let the coffee grounds sit in the counter. Brilliance at its finest.
