I pushed "brew" on the coffee maker and let the coffee grounds sit in the counter. Brilliance at its finest.

We had tacos for dinner tonight. Ella was finishing up her second taco while I cleaned up. She tells me that for her next birthday treat at school she wants to take taco shells. Um really??? Not so sure your friends will like that treat. I asked her if she wanted to take plain shells. She said no with pink icing and filled with strawberries!
Think we'll try them at home first!!!

Grocery shopping with a four year old and a three year old in a regular cart is almost impossible. With one sitting in the seat and the other in the basket area it leaves hardly any room for the groceries!!!
They really need to come out with a double seater. The car carts are great but the basket isn't very big and my two kiddos don't fit in it overly well.
We manage but whichever child is in the basket gets groceries dumped on them every time!

While swimming today we had to cut our swim short due to an approaching storm. We explained to the kiddos that when you hear thunder you need to get out of the pool as lightening is usually close behind and we can't swim during thunderstorms as we could get very hurt.
My Dad has an Ap on his phone that tracks storms. He shared this with Ella and Cooper. Cooper became instantly addicted to watching the storm, continuing to ask Popop for his phone so he could watch the tracker.
He now is sitting with my Dad watching the weather channel and the upcoming storms for tonight.
We may have our future meteorologist folks!
