Sitting down to watch a show together, I'm surprised by a small black box with a maroon bow. Nearly tucked inside.....a kindle paperwhite. I owned one of the first ever kindles and two years ago Josh and I got new ones. I've used it quite a bit and recently he's been hinting towards getting me a paperwhite because of the amount I read. I continued to say no. He told me I DESERVE it. Yes I love him! Thank you Josh Cook for loving me and being my #1... you are my rock, solemate & best friend. I thank God everyday for bringing you in my life!

Ella is comical. I think her future holds some sort of career in foreign languages. This past Christmas she received the singing Elsa doll and the girl insists on listening to her sing 'Let It Go' in Spanish. She also likes to have her speak in Spanish. When we ask her why she had the doll on the Spanish mode she tells us that she knowsthe song and sayings in English and wants to learn the other way. Ok, can't argue with that! She had her tablet and it's listening to a sorry in French right now. I asked her if she wanted me to change it to English and she said no that is ok. Glad she enjoys other languages, she week make a great world traveler!

That feeling of being letdown and disappointed when a Pinterest recipe is a flop. :( We each have our own sense of taste and our tastebuds manage to make us unique just like our finger prints. I've learned a good number of times my tastebuds don't agree with what other 'pinners' find to be 'out of this world amazing'

Today has been a challenging day for Coopers and my relationship. The day started out great but has since gone down hill. This downward spiral seems to begin when we pick Ella up from school. Today he literally threw himself down in the parking lot of the school and sat there screaming. Yep, in the salt and soot, he sat there. If anyone walking by or outside heard or saw him they would have thought I was kidnapping him he was that hysterical. This was all because I wouldn't carry him to the car. Never-mind the fact my hands were full, but he's old enough to walk. He then refused to hang his coat up once home saying he can't and didn't know how which are two outright lies. I told him that he wouldn't have a coat next time he went to put one on as id give it away if he wasn't going to hang it up as I know he knows how to do. He eventually got up and did it but screamed, yelled and pouted about it the entire time. I'm pretty certain it comes from tiredness and lack of attention he feels he is receiving once Ella is home. She likes showing her artwork etc and sharing about her day and I think he figures negative attention is at least attention. I'm at a loss as how to handle. I've contemplated putting him in his room but is that really resolving anything or just removing him from the living area so I can still share time with Ella and hear about her day?? As for the outburst in the parking lot, ask I can do is grab him and get him into his seat and discuss later. I know I'm a good Mom and I know children get upset easily, I just feel Cooper is behaving this way more lately and I can't figure out why and I can't decide how I should handle it.
