Tonight the children and myself had a glass of milk with dinner. Cooper was pointing out what everyone had to drink and said that Daddy has water. Ella spoke up and said that she thought she knew why he had water and it was because he was trying to lose weight and get rid of his belly.
I almost choked on my food. Okay Mr. 4 chocolate covered pretzels last evening as a before bed snack. Choosing water over milk is gonna decrease those pounds dramatically when your snacks consist of chocolate, cake, frozen desserts and an occasional piece of candy. Let's not forget the beers, wine and vodka drinks while we're at it.
Isn't it easier to just tell your children you don't want milk with your dinner & that you prefer water???

Yesterday I put the grapes in the freezer instead of the fridge... while Josh and I enjoy frozen grapes both children crinkled their noses. They did each try one but weren't having it.

My children both informed me they think this mornings trip to SkyZone was both of their favorites.
As a sideline witness I do think I must agree with them. The two of them along with their two friends made friends with the attendants on mat duty and by the end of the hour and a half they had been instructed on the proper way to bounce off the wall trampolines, bounced to heights they hadn't bounced to before in order to reach the attendants hands and had a few good runs and bounces off the walls.

This morning I reminded Cooper to lift the "tongue" when putting on his shoe. He looks at me sticks his tongue somewhat out and lifts it up.
I guess I needed to specify to lift the tongue of the shoe!

Apparently Cooper had tattooed Oreos for snack today! That is a very interesting way of describing the print on the cookie.
