Healthy lifestyle = healthy eating!!!
We explained to the children that we have decided to eat healthier and with that would come some new meals. While the meats would still be chicken and pork for example it may look different than what they are used you.
Tonight we tried a new recipe - Crispy Balsamic Chicken with carrot chips from a Heart Healthy Recipe book we picked up a few weeks ago. Delicious!!! The children liked it and both went back for seconds... KEEPER!
We are also in the final stages of making our own healthy chicken stock!
Funny thing, it didn't take a lot of work!!
Healthy lifestyle changes are so worth it!

My children are addicted to Lion Guard! They would watch it all day long over and over again if I let them!!
In fact, last night they somehow managed to get Josh Cook, my Dad and me to reenact one of the episodes.
My mother told me I did a great job and am quite the actress (I played the role of the hippo) ... Guess I once again missed my calling.

I find it humorous that the children receiving Valentine goodies, some of which are tatoos prompts the question...
