Happy to report that Coopers ruptured eardrum has healed and his ears are healthy. :) He has been put on Flonase and Saline Spray for his allergies and will be seeing an Allergist in the near future. Happy he will feel some relief soon! For those who were keeping him in their prayers, we appreciate it. :)

I just have to share the happiness I feel today for my neighbor. A month ago she decided to try out the nutrition program Josh Cook and I are using and today she shared that's she has lost 12 pounds and many inches! She's extactic with her results, how she feels and is so glad she made the decision to try out the program! Knowing she could receive her money back in those first 30 days made the decision to try it easier for just like many of us, she too was skeptical! Setting her skepticism aside she jumped on board and has changed her life for the better having no regrets, down 12 pounds and is going to continue to make heathy choices moving forward. Sometimes all it takes is 30 days to change yourself for the better! Congrats neighbor and friend!

Volunteering this morning one of my jobs was assisting a new student with the MAC laptop during reading centers. That was interesting to say the least - considering that was the first time ever I used any Apple device other than an IPhone (which I haven't been an IPhone user in years) - I managed but I still know for a fact that Ella is much more knowledgeable with Apple products than me!

My health is not a competition. I am not in a race to better my health or compare my way of having better health to yours... That is ridiculous!! I want better health for myself, my family and because it makes me feel better. Better health is not a competition, it's a decision, a choice that impacts me... No one else.

This month's Book of the Month (Ringing Rocks program) led to some great discussions which I'm thankful for! It did however open Ella's eyes to how people treat other people and how some of her classmates don't treat others kindly. So much for a Kindergartener to swallow. Society is just ugly unfortunately and for our children's safety these subjects need to be addressed at a young age.
