My thirtieth birthday was definitely a day in my life I was not looking forward to. Leaving my 20’s …no way! Thirty, in my opinion, sounds like an age where excuses are no more and life should be in order. While I feel my life is in rather good order and has been for a few years now, I was still having a difficult time letting go of the Twe… and accepting the Thir…

Okay, not 100% women, but 99.98888 percent women all together at the Wachovia Center. While you may be asking yourself – what was held at the Wachovia Center that would interest that many women? – I can guarantee it did not have a ball, hockey puck, or a well known million dollar musician involved! The city of Philadelphia and the surrounding areas were all lucky and fortunate to have the lovely ladies of Women of Faith grace us with their life experiences, motivational and heartfelt words along with their ability to make you laugh until you cried.
On the 25th of July August Ebony turned two years old – yes, the terrible twos have started. Continuing tradition, we held a small birthday party and as always all the guests shared birthday ice cream!
One of the hardest wedding decisions I have had to make so far is if I should have someone stand up next to me on our 10/11/08. Why is this a hard decision, well I have never been one to dream about my wedding day, nor have I been one to have a lot of close friends that I would want standing up with me. So I came to the conclusion that I was going to stand solo and not have a “Left Hand Lady”.
Everyone at some point in their lives really needs to experience a CIRCUS! At the age of 29, I experienced my first circus this past weekend! Hearing that the circus was in town and knowing that I had never before been to a circus, Josh decided to get us tickets for Saturday evenings show!
Did you ever ask yourself: “Self, I wonder how much room 32 candles would take up on a birthday cake?”? ((I’m not really sure if there should be one or two question marks here…)) Luckily this year I didn’t have to because Megan made me Chocolate pudding instead!
Lately I’ve realized that I must be the hardest person to gift shop for; I really must be. Not only do I usually not give any clues or ideas to things I like/want/need, I really don’t have the typical guy hobbies or interests. I mean, yeah I like to watch Football every now and then on TV, but that doesn’t mean that I want a sports jersey or an official this-or-that from whatever. Taking this issue one step further is that the things I do enjoy doing ((spending time with Megan, spending time with our Families, our web site, writing computer programs, etc)), you really can’t buy things for ((Not yet at least, we’re working on Inside Our Shell merchandise!!!)).
With that said, Megan made my 32nd birthday perfect – I guess she figured me out!
