Hoping the fresh brisk fresh air from this morning's biking helps Ella and Cooper take nice naps. This Mama is exhausted from the ongoing bickering (which includes biting, hitting, slapping, pushing and kicking)...I know, I know I'll miss this some day!

I decided I wasn't going to go through the egg dying process this year with my kiddos. I know very bahumbunny of me. All I could envision was the ears not listening, and a mess of dye all over my floor.
I put forth a good effort looking on Pinterest for weeks for other ideas so we could experience something with hard boiled eggs just not your typical dying. Found a few ideas but convinced myself to forego the egg thing this year as I have many crafts I can pull out if we want to do an activity or craft.
At 5:00 today someone posted an activity to FB that looks like it may be fun...it uses hard boiled eggs and no dye!!!
So the bahumbunny aka me is coming through for my little kiddos, I'll boil eggs and we'll try out this interesting idea!

On our drive to school this morning Ella questioned the red lights on the back of the school bus in front of us. She was curious as to why they were lit red. I explained breaking and when and why we break. Then once we were in car line at school I showed both Cooper and Ella how my foot presses a pedal to make the car slow down and stop. We also talked about how the car lights are always on when it's raining, that it is a law/rule that you need to follow and if you don't a police officer can pull you over and you'd get in trouble. I explained how you need to get a driver's license and learn all the important laws and rules of driving a car.
Ella then said when she learns the rules will I take her in my car to get her license.:-)
She's accomplished the toddler riders and tricycles...next up a bike! Ways to go until learning to drive a car!

Watching Josh Cook battle with Berkheimer doing our local taxes. Brings back memories of my HR days...so happy to be a SAHM and have a husband who supports our family and does our taxes! Love you Josh!
