Can't believe I'm admitting this, but I enjoy doing yard work so much more with my kiddies! We had a blast this morning! I just came in from doing additional yard work and it wasn't nearly as fun.
Of course I was ripping out shrubbery and viney roseplants with thorns the size of my thumb this afternoon, that may have something to do with it!!!!

Ella and Coop visited the Easter Bunny today after school. On our way home Ella asked me if that was the real Easter Bunny. I asked her why did she ask. She said because he doesn't have a real mouth. I said that he was a friend of the Easter Bunny and that the real Easter Bunny had a lot of malls and picture places he had to be before Easter so his friends help him out. She seemed ok with that but I heard her in the back seat listing out loud all the reasons his mouth was "weird"...
1. A black hole
2. Mouth doesn't move
3. No tongue like we have
4. He can't eat a carrot through that black hole
I am beginning to wonder if I'll even get 5 years of believing in the Easter Bunny.....she's already questioning if he's real!!!

Ever since the Orthopedic Specialist appointment Ella has been keeping a close eye on her thumb. It's always almost in the bent position and she does really well with it. This morning she looked at me and said there is a bump at the bottom of her thumb (the cyst)....she then asked when it would go away. I told her it may take some time. She then said that if it doesn't go away the doctor would just "boop" it away.
Oh the young innocent mind, if all was as simple as a"boop"!

Ella is getting herself dressed. As she is putting her shirt on she firmly says: "Hey, get in your arm hole!"

Cooper asked me earlier tonight what we were having for dinner. I knew if I said a meatball parm casserole he'd not eat it because he'd hear meatball and immediately be turned off. I decided to just go with casserole and got a one word response......
Eeeeeeewwwwwww
Yep and it was eeeewww. Casserole meet our friendly house garbage disposal.
While last night's meal was a keeper by far (thanks Trish Garrett) tonight's recipe went in the garbage (no thanks Pinterest find)
