The children learned the ever familiar Sunday School song "Wiseman Built His House Upon The Rocks" in music class at school. They learned hand motions to go along with the song and have been singing this song for weeks!
Come to learn that Josh thought the song said "Polish Man" not "Foolish Man".....he was shocked that a Sunday School song would single out the Polish in a song.
I think it's funny and am still laughing inside.

Spent this morning sipping coffee watching Josh Cook draw the trains from Thomas the train for Ella and Cooper using markers. He even had me pause and rewind the show so he could see the detail of each engine.
The children loved this....they miss him so much because of the long hours he puts in Monday thru Friday, these moments are so special for them!

Let me see how this turns out: It occurs to me that for each and. every one of you on my friends list, I catch myself looking at your pictures, sharing jokes and news, as well as support during good and bad times. Base board cleaning is one of the most nonrewarding....ya can't even see a difference, unless you frame the cleaning cloth, but who would do that? Ha!

Tonight is the dreaded night of making the upcoming two week dinner menu. I am so sick and tired of the dinners we eat I would rather eat cereal. However that isn't setting a good example for the children. Time to time yes but not a regular occurance.
So....I'm asking for any simple meals that don't require much prep time and are well liked by children.
Help please.

Vitamin D = instant refreshment.
Had outdoor bike time after school at MoMom and PoPops house. We then came home and cleaned our deck together. :-) :-) :-) so happy spring is here!
