Josh walked in the door this evening after work with 39 pink and white helium balloons, one of which says "it's a girl!"
I was rather perplexed at why he had pink and white balloons announcing that it's a girl.
Did I miss something????
Here it was a joke from the guys at work as Josh has been talking a lot about the princesses etc. As his 3, almost 4 year old lives for the princesses...they said he's turning girly.
Now my house is filled with the things, the kids love them and so do my ceilings (9 feet throughout except for entryway which is open two story)
Yep thanks guys! Joke for Josh, nightmare for me...oh yeah and our dog hates balloons!

Ella: "Mommy I like scabs, they are cute and funny!"
We were talking about a scab on her elbow tonight before bed.
I wouldn't classify them as cute or funny.. more like bumpy and gross. Yuck.

We are celebrating Josh's birthday with homemade pizza and brownies tonight. Ella just looked at me and said she is going to eat a good dinner so she can have brownies....then she made this gulping noise and declared that she loves brownies.
What a goofball, bet she's glad we are having pizza so eating a good dinner is easy for her to accomplish!

What started out as thinking Cooper was calling out because he needed to pee on the potty, turned out to be a night of me sleeping on his floor. He was running a fever and continued to feel like he had to go to the bathroom. I think we were in the bathroom at least 15 times. He finally settled on the floor laying next to me sometime after 1:30. He slept restlessly from then on continuing to wake up. This morning he claims he isn't feeling that great and is cuddled next to me on the sofa.
Hoping he feels better soon!

Cooper just called out because he needed to pee on potty. :-) He can't be night training already, can he??? Proud of my Bubbie, not even 3 and he's diaper free and doing so well with accidents at night!

Any local friends with children have a good eye doctor to recommend? I need to have Ella to the eye doctor by the time she's 4 per our pediatrician. I don't know if any children eye doctors.

Josh and I have Sonicare toothbrushes and Ella has seen how they work...she wants an automatic toothbrush but at this point with how quickly the brushes wear out we aren't spending money (even on the cheaper ones) for an automatic toothbrush.
This morning while brushing teeth, Ella showed me the "power" button on her toothbrush. She then made the noise and pretend to have a Sonicare.
The imagination on this girl amazes me!
