A few weeks ago I came home after a long day of work to Megan having dinner ready. It was simple – pasta with spaghetti sauce – although these days we both try to keep dinner as quick and easy as possible. This allows us to spend as much time with Ella as a family in the evening.

Like most nights, I sat on the floor next to Ella’s play zone so I could be near to her while Megan and I eat and she played. Megan handed me my bowl of piping hot pasta and sauce which I placed on the floor in front of me.

Unknowingly I placed the bowl of lava like pasta sauce in the zone…

With the New Year approaching Josh and I took the time to upload a ton of pictures that have been sitting around. Pictures ranging from September to present date are now located in our online album. There are tons of new Ella pictures as well as Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas ((yes already)) as well as Jaime and BJ’s wedding. Enjoy the photos and hopefully we’ll be better with updating in the New Year! Hey… maybe we should make it our resolution!!!

Shortly after Ella was born we decided to book a short get-a-way to Jamaica to relax, enjoy the sun ((drink)) and celebrate our second anniversary.  Low and behold, three days before leaving for our All-Inclusive vacation ((that post is still to come)) we found out we’re expecting!

Well Summer 2010 has come and gone and us Cook folk have been rather busy. While most of our time has been spent working and raising Ella we did manage to include some other things in this summer. We decided since we didn’t write a lot of posts on our happenings this summer ((we actually think Ella wrote more)) we’d write one entry outlining our summer of fun!

We’ve had a busy summer thus far and while we haven’t been writing a lot of posts, we’ve still been taking many pictures!
