My daughter is just as bad as some stores.....it isn't even Halloween yet and she pulled the Christmas story books off the bookshelf to read!
This morning we have read 6 Christmas stories! If this continues she will have the stories memorized by Christmas!

Josh Cook and I try so hard to teach our children manners and inside voices and how to behave and sit nicely at the dinner table. We understand they are only 2 & 3 but we both have never liked when parents let their children get out of hand in restaurant settings, we feel starting at a young age can only help to instill the behavior we want our children to have and with practice they will succeed.
The past two times we've had them out to dinner we have been praised with how wonderfully behaved our children were. It's nice to receive these compliments as sometimes being on the parent end we may judge to harshly. Both times the praise came from people who have children or are grandparents themselves and have been in our shoes. It's nice that in this society there are some out their that do remember how it was and don't give a dirty look obviously forgetting these days of parenting.
Congratulations to Josh and myself for our continued effort and congratulations to our munchkins for earning the praise and making us proud parents. Love you both!

Ella had her first accident in the middle of the night. She woke up calling out for me. I went in and she said " I'm wet."
After getting her cleaned up and in dry clothing and back into bed...she asked for her green blanket. This green blanket hung the moon in her eyes. This green blanket was wet and needed a bath.
She was more upset and cried over not having her green blanket to sleep with the rest of the night and handled the accident of wetting the bed with ease.
What is your green blanket?
