I had a very interesting drink today at Candylane....a Hot Apple Cider Slushie!
I questioned how the drink can be hot yet a slushie. Slushie to me screams cold frosty drink that you tend to drink in the hotter months of the year, not when you are bundled up wearing 4 pairs of socks and a parka. Yet I tried one.
Regretting it???? kinda only because it was more of a texture thing that was extremely hard for me to get past. It should have been called a Hot Apple Cider Chunkie because it was Hot Apple Cider with chunks of apples. Not just a few, it was loaded with chunks so every sip your mouth was bombarded with Apple chunks.
I did drink it due to the warmth it provided my cold body. Next time coffee or hot chocolate for sure!

Day #30 I am thankful for fun day trips with my family and friends! Today we are headed to Candylane at Hersheypark!!!! It it's going to be cold but we'll make some great memories!
I think today will be a double thankful because being out in the cold all day I am going to be thankful for coffee too!
These past 30 days have helped me reflect and remember the things in life that are most important to me. Some were a little funny and more of a spur of the moment thank you, but most were heart felt and are very meaningful to me. It's been fun!

So while I was going to go decoration free for a day or two....Ella insisted we decorate for Christmas....so.....12 hours ago I was living in a turkey haven, and I am now sitting amongst reindeer, snowmen and some Santa Clauses'!!!
All that is left to do is our tree which we plan to do next weekend!!!

Josh told Ella and Cooper that if they sat nicely through Ellas show they could have a cookie while watching Coopers.
Josh sat down and started singing and Ella straight out asked him if he wanted a cookie....guess he was singing to loud and wasn't sitting nicely in her book!

Turkey and fall decorations are gone. Going to enjoy the house decoration free for a day or two and then it's time to bring in Christmas and snowman!!! :-) :-)

Day #29 I am thankful for leftovers. Apple pie warmed in the microwave...yum!
Later leftover green bean casserole, potato filling and more pie!
