Ella, Coop and I are watching a show before they go for their naps. I accuse Coop of pooping as the smell is so bad it smells like he pooped in his diaper. I check his diaper and it's clean. Ella is passing gas so much and it smells so strong it's as if she pooped.

Every morning when getting Cooper up he gets changed in his room and we then brush teeth and comb hair before coming downstairs. Cooper always says no. This morning I took a different approach, with Ellas help. I told him that he wants a train track for Christmas from Santa and Santa sees everything he does...so if he says no and doesn't listen Santa sees him being making bad choices. Ella and I then sang "Santa Clause is coming to town" and I asked Cooper to lay down to get his diaper changed and make a good choice and Santa would see that he's being good he said OK and laid right down. Been a good listening morning ever since.

Day #22 I am thankful for vacations. With or without the children vacations are a great escape from the everyday! A year ago today we were leaving for WDW...I remember the excitement and the "I can't wait to be there feeling" you get when you are leaving to go somewhere where the only goal is to have fun! I can't imagine life without vacations. I have been fortunate in my 35 years to have traveled a lot and it is one of my favorite things to do. Vacations are a bonus to life and everyone can't afford to take them, so I am very thankful I have been able to and I hope to be able to take my children on many!

Cooper insisted on reading "Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site" by himself tonight. It was absolutely adorable! I convinced him to let me help him read it and he was so cute repeating the words as I said them! While he doesn't like all books like his sister he has a few he holds near and dear and this makes me happy!
