Day #17 I am thankful for my Mom's cooking. Tonight I am blessed with homemade meatloaf, homemade mashed potatoes, green beans, homemade applesauce (that my Dad made...thank you Dad) and homemade apple dumplings!
Yes, I am blessed!!!

Ella loves watching commercials and seeing all the future prospects to dwell in our future living room, currently our playroom. Tonight she tells her Daddy that there is a toy channel on the tv and she wants to watch it. Um no sweetheart those are commercials, things you will grow to dislike, or dvr so you don't have to deal with them!

Tonight we had a family reading of "Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site"...read by Mommy and Daddy!
Love special family moments like those especially when the kiddies are "reading" along with us!

Day #16 I am thankful for imagination. The splendor of such a gift in a small child is such a blessing.
While Cooper imagines in his own way and doesn't share his thoughts as much yet as Ella does.....Ella loves to imagine and pretend. Not a day goes by that she isn't using her imagination to it's fullest. I hope she never loses this great gift!

Ella's Izzy shirt ripped for the third time and this time it is not salvageable!!! I told her we would make our own....ideas on what to use on the shirt that will hold through the wash.
