Ella has a pair of silver slip on shoes that she got last year for her Aunt Lauren's wedding. These shoes still fit but are so worn down and look like they are ready to be retired. I'm afraid instead of being Cinderella Ella may be Drizella or Anastasia. One of these days her foot is going to pop out of her silver shoe and it won't fit back in. I'm still confident however that she will find her Prince!

Day #4 I am thankful for being a Christian and having a wonderful church and church family. Blessed to find comfort in knowing my heart and soul are at home with Jesus :-)

Day #3 I am thankful for my loving supportive parents. Through my 35 years of life they have displayed the role of exceptional parenting. I know at times I wasn't the easiest to live with and raise. They managed to love me and teach me how to display love and parent my own two children using them as an example. I am a very lucky girl to have such perfect parents as my own! I am so thankful for them both!

Day #2: I am thankful for my children. Ella and Cooper are the two best little kiddies. Even with their high pitched squeals and ears that sometimes don't listen well I wouldn't trade them for anything and love them to pieces. I thank God everyday for making me their Mommy. So thankful!

Thirty Days of Thankfulness starts today. I challenge everyone of you to find something you are thankful for each day and share it with the Facebook world. Will you accept this challenge? Day #1: My loving husband. Without him I would not be the person I am. I would not have my two beautiful children. I would not live in my beautiful home. Indeed he is worth being thankful for and certainly is #1!

Had a nice outing to the library. We picked up two books for each kiddie and a few books on Thanksgiving - one on the pilgrims, one explaining why we have Thanksgiving and a silly story about Turkey Pox :-) Yeah for borrowed books and reading!

And it begins..... Can I have a piece of candy? Asks an ever so sweet blonde haired girl.... Daddy already let her have a Lollipop ...not even 8am and she has extra sugar in her with a full day ahead. Time for it all to disappear. I already sorted through it last night and eliminated some. Out of sight out of mind motto...bringing it out only when I want her to have a piece. I tried to explain that if she eats too much she'll get a belly ache and needs to eat good food to balance the sugary stuff. Seems ok with that, but in about 20 minutes she'll be asking again.
