Day #9 I am thankful for weekends! While each day is pretty much the same to me it is nice for Ella and Cooper as they know that Daddy is home on weekends and they get to spend more time with him! Their eyes light up when they hear he's home ALL day :-)

For a good part of the morning, Ella was asking me where the Angel is at??? For the life of me I couldn't figure out what she was talking about. Then we were looking at a catalog that had a picture of a child's nativity and Ella told me that was the Angel she was looking for. I explained that was with our Christmas decorations and would bring it out when we decorate for Christmas. She continued to inquire about it when we were in the basement playing I decided get it out for her. What's the harm?? The girl loves Baby Jesus and what is another month really??? May as well let her make use of it and get out money's worth!

My children and I successfully vacuumed, dusted, cleaned windows, cleaned the hard wood floors & did 5 loads of laundry today...I'd say that is a rather successful Friday! Glad they have both been in good moods and easy going....makes this Mama happy as my house felt dirty!!!

Day #8 I am so thankful for laughter. Laughter is one of the best sounds, in my opinion. Hearing someone laugh = happiness :-) An example of this. This morning lying in bed shortly after the alarm woke me, I hear from Cooper's monitor laughter! I smile as I know he's dreaming and laughing in his sleep. Any parent knows hearing laughter through a monitor is so much nicer than cries and screams which we tend to expect to hear. Anyone's laughter, but my children's especially, warms my heart and makes me glow with happiness. For this I am thankful.

Spent 45 minutes above my parents garage today. Found some old toys and a few antique items...fun looking through items that I recall from my childhood. Ella and Coop sat on the garage floor and enjoyed playing with some of the treasures! Ella claimed the doctor kit and declared it better than the two others she already has!

Day #7 I am thankful for my brother. While we aren't as close as we once were, we are still there for each other no matter what. At times I look at Ella and Cooper and think how I hope they have the relationship growing up that Matt and I did, only difference being I hope they stay as close once they leave our nest. Siblings are one of the best gifts given....someone who is there for you through thick and thin and someone who understands your families dynamics. I love ya bro and even though you won't read this because you are too stubborn to get FB, I am very thankful to have you as my brother.
