I managed to get poison ivy on my arm last weekend while weeding. Oh it's beyond annoying.

Both my children are in bed and asleep by 7!!!! This is a rare happening...I know they are exhausted as they really didn't fight it.

I think I have reached record status on the number of fb posts I've put up today. I couldn't pass this moment up though.... Ella and I were talking about school and I asked if she missed me today. She said yes and then asked why I missed her. I told her because we have fun together but I know school is important and fun too. She looked up at me and said "When you miss me put your hand to your cheek (she had her hand in a cupped position) and look right there (pointing to the middle of her palm of her hand) and there is a kiss for you." Yes, I cried.

Just returned home from picking Ella up. Wow, she talked non-stop the whole way home! She had a great day at school and really enjoyed eating lunch there with other children. Her afternoon today was spent learning about the ocean and things that live in it. They had sand and seashells and they also had a pretend ocean with fish. Two of her previous teachers were part of the 4 adults who are running the Explorer program and her new teacher Mrs Drury she has named as her favorite! She is cuddled up on the couch with her blanket having some down time right now. I hope she continues to enjoy the all day program!

I feel so bad for Cooper. Before I put him down for his nap he was wondering around lost. I asked him what was wrong and he said he missed Ella. I do too. This full day prek is going to take some getting used to for all of us. I keep watching the clock, as I can't wait to go pick her up!

Cooper had a great first day of Preschool! They took a tour of the building and had a scavenger hunt in their classroom. He was very happy to see me when I walked in the door and showed me the froggie sticker he was given for being a good boy!!!

Hard to believe I won't see Ella until 3:00. I think this all day thing this year is actually to prepare me so next year won't be as hard. Ella ran off and didn't even look back once in her room. Coop was a but more reserved and skeptical about the new room and new teachers, but that is typical Cooper.
