Outfits are laid out in preparation for the big day tomorrow! Josh and I head to both orientations in an hour and meet the teachers. Feel like an old pro as this is the third year in a row we are doing this but it's nice to meet the teachers and hear what they have planned for the year.
I learned today that in the Explorers program that Ella is taking part in there will only be 6 children 3 of which are 4 year olds (both being girls)...excited for Ella!

Happy September! (even though it's the 2nd and not the 1st)...today marks the last day of Summer Vacation 2014....lots of great memories made this summer which hopefully both children will remember and cherish.
Every morning we wake up and have the opportunity to make many lasting memories. As the children head off to school tomorrow morning, I hope they take that opportunity and live it to their fullest potential. Learn, play, laugh, make friends and most importantly take each moment in the moment for life is filled with many moments...so don't sweat the small stuff!

Unfortunately Coopers allergies are in full swing....poor kid.
He's itching his eyes non stop the last few days. We have asked him if he'd like eye drops in his eyes, but his answer is always no. In the spring we had to hold him down and force drops into his eyes.
Tonight my parents came over for dinner and my Dad just happened to call the drops "eye ups" and Cooper went for it. He willingly let Josh put drops in both eyes and the rest of the night his eyes were itch free!
We don't use eye drops in this house, we use eye ups!

I've read many fb statuses this morning about people's children who slept in today, not my children. Ella up at her normal time followed by brother shortly after.
In two days when they are required to be up because of the first day of school they will probably both want to sleep in.
I honestly can't believe is only 10:38am....I feel like it's about 1 in the afternoon. :/
