Josh Cook just called Ebony to go outside. I told him that she was getting a drink of water.
He replied she has four legs she should move faster.
Yes, that may be true, but she has to lick her water from a water bowl. Unfortunately for her she doesn't have opposable thumbs giving her the ability to drink from a cup quickly like we do.

The children asked for strawberries which we have but this time a year they aren't at their best quality and tend to rot quickly. Since I could only manage to find 4 edible ones I suggested a fruit salad, adding grapes and banana. Ella was all for it, Coop not so much. I think he was picturing a bowl of green leafy rabbit food. This led to a bickerfest between the two of them.
I announced one had fruit salad the other a bowl a fruit. Is their really a difference?
To them yes and it's huge and justifies screaming at each other.
They are happy eating their fruit salad/bowl of fruit.

The view is awesome this November 1st...rain and leaves falling from the sky. Yippee now the leaves on the ground are back, can't even tell I raked and tarped them yesterday. Plus they are now soaked!
