I wonder if Josh Cook is blaring it that loud to drown out the high pitch "Shake It Off" lyrics coming out if the children's mouths!

Going through their Valentine's together is sweet. They love seeing what the other received but one of the two becomes jealous when a princess card or anything she feels should be hers is shown.
Being a nice brother he willingly gave her the Elsa card with lollypop!

Wow my children have two totally different wake up methods.
Cooper stands at the inside of his door and knocks on it, calmly and quietly talking about getting up. Sometimes he doesn't say a word, just knocks till someone gets him.
Ella calls out, whines, yells at her clock to turn seven, zero, zero and is mad because it hasn't turned yet and she thinks it is never going to be seven, zero, zero.
Two peas grown in the same pod plant, but wow their colors are very different.
Are their two different colored peas???

The children and I were talking about Valentine's Day and what Valentine's Day is. I explained that we give those who are special to us a small note, card, or small gift as a token of how much we appreciate them, love them or like them.
I reminded them that tomorrow in school they would exchange Valentine's with their school friends.
Ella then announced that you can give Valentine's to "crushes"... I was shocked that she knew what a crush was!!!! I asked her if she has a "crush", to which she said "Yes, Caleb from last year." Followed by, "And Aiden has a crush on me!"
I decided I would see just how much she would share with me so I asked her what Aiden does that she thinks he has a crush on her. She replied that he chases her around and always runs to her to give her hugs.
So in the morning at school Ella does the chasing and in the afternoon she gets chased. Exhausting.

Ella had a week in her Explorers Program at school all about Eric Carle the famous author. They learned about his type of art how he paints in lines, cuts out the paintings and makes pictures for his books from the cut pieces. She is infatuated with this guy!!!
Besides Frozen he is her favorite topic of discussion. :)

Music class days in this house are so uplifting.... They both come home singing songs and showing off the steps that go along with the songs. Great energy and happiness follow music class!!!
