This July Mom and Dad R decided to travel the Northeastern States so we told them we’d watch their pups for them. Which mean for the month of July not only are we home-bound, we’re home-bound with four dogs.

Recently Sarah and Samuel visited us from Texas spending the night with us and the four pups ((we were dog sitting Dora and Kenzie for the month of July)). During their visit Megan and I had the ability to play with Samuel and his small animal toys. It’s truly amazing how someone so young can know so much!
That was the question I heard as I was about to take my first bite of dinner. Typically sentences like this wouldn’t really get in my way of having something to eat ((especially when I was starving because I didn’t eat all day)), but something in Megan’s voice made me jump out of my seat and quickly get to the other side of the table.
On the 25th of July August Ebony turned two years old – yes, the terrible twos have started. Continuing tradition, we held a small birthday party and as always all the guests shared birthday ice cream!
I realized today that I never posted the fact that little Murano the fishie who was the first Murano in my life passed away. Josh and I were on vacation in Las Vegas last August and when I returned to work there was no more Murano, he had passed away while I was away. Not having the heart to replace him, my desk sits empty… however, our kitchen counter houses a Betta Fish which certainly is no where near as personable as Murano was, maybe the name has something to do with that!
No, they don’t have cell phones… Our neighbors – the one’s who live next to crazy – seem to like to call our pups over whenever they are out back. Not that they can pet or play or touch them, they just make lots of doggy noises and make our pups go crazy, running over there trying to see them. I hate them.
Today Ebony officially capsized the record of “Fastest Carcass Creator” – After many many carcass creatings Floppie stepped down and his sister managed to create a snake carcass in 15 minutes! Guess they both enjoy playing with carcasses over stuffed toys because Floppie was only a few minutes behind in creating his snake carcass. Now they have two more carcasses to add to the “Bone Chest”!
