At my cousin’s picnic Ella broke her leg. A big dog jumped up on her and Ella lost her balance and fell backwards cracking her tibia. Luckily it is a non-weight bearing bone and it was only a crack. We took her to Urgent Care in Limerick and they put a temporary cast on. We need to take her to an orthopedic specialist tomorrow. She will get a hard cast on then.

Sometimes a dog’s love is a bit too much….Ella was greeted this afternoon by my cousins big dog and she fell back and her leg bent backwards.
Needless to say she cried and was in a lot of pain. After a few hours of TLC here at home, she still won’t walk on it. No swelling or bruising…No signs at all that anything even happened except that she won’t walk on it.
prayers that she will be back to herself in the morning!

I just finished watching The Little Mermaid for the first time.
Ella enjoyed but I think she is still a Cinderella girl!

Ella and I are reading her Princess color/story book and every page that has Cinderella on it she jumps up grabs a blue crayon and colors Cinderella’s shoes! It’s Adorable!!!

In my opinion it is absolutely horrible that in order to get the DVD of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs for Ella, we will have to spend $40 some dollars. Bluray $50 some.
I dislike the fact that Disney creates all these characters, especially the princesses for little girls and then they lock them in a vault and the only way to get them is wait for them to be released or pay an arm and a leg!
Its sad…you fill these children’s minds and hearts with these characters who they eat, sleep and breathe and then when you want to introduce the movie you can’t, unless you want to spend a fortune. $40 some dollars isn’t a lot of money at the end of the day but for a movie it kinda is.
Im sad and disappointed as I was looking forward to sharing another Classic Princess story with my Princess.

The way to get children to eat something. Make it for yourself …they’ll be all over it!

Yet another moment when a child looks at you as a Mommy and doesn’t look at you as being older.
Tonight we were outside waiting for Daddy to come home. I had two beach chairs and a small chair of Coopers out so the 3 of us each had a chair to sit on. As one would have it both kids wanted to sit on the beach chairs leaving my behind with nothing to sit on.
I chose to sit on Coopers little toy car he uses in our garage.
Ella looks at me and says: when you get older you can have one Mommy.
I asked her how old you have to be.
She replied: 3
I said: how old so you think I am?
She replied: 2 months old.

Damn I’ve done and accomplished a lot in my two months of life, including having a 3 year old and a 2 year old!

I’ll give myself a pat on the back and a high five!

Age is only a number and in my daughter’s eyes her Mommy is just that her Mommy..regardless of if is 2 months old or 35 years old!
