The last few months have been rather busy here in the Cook household as we prepare for Baby Lima’s arrival. In addition to getting all those little things done that we’ve been meaning to do completed ((Organizing the garage, moving the ‘office’ upstairs, rearranging our bedroom, moving the computer equipment to the new office, etc, etc, etc)) we also spent a ton of time getting her room together. So, without further ado, I present Baby Lima’s Room!

At 33 weeks 4 days, Lima and I are both doing great!!!!

As the third trimester begins Little Lima and I are doing great! Hard to believe we are now in the 3rd trimester of our pregnancy. I feel like just yesterday Josh and I read the results on the little urine stick stating we are expecting! Time really does fly and to think that in a couple of months our little one will be with us!!!

On January 4th, 2010 Megan and I visited the Pottstown Memorial Hospital for Lima’s second Ultrasound.

Today, January 19th, 2010 two milestones in Lima Cook’s pregnancy occurred.

While many disagree with our decision of finding out Lima’s gender, Josh and I really wanted to find out if we are having a boy or girl. So we did just that!!!

After Josh and I got over the initial amazement and delight of being pregnant ((not that those feelings ever go away)) and met with our obstetrician, we decided to have what is known as the 1st Trimester Screening. This is a test that helps determine the risk for specific chromosomal abnormalities, including Down’s Syndrome Trisomy-21, Trisomy-18 and spina bifida.
