Well Summer 2010 has come and gone and us Cook folk have been rather busy. While most of our time has been spent working and raising Ella we did manage to include some other things in this summer. We decided since we didn’t write a lot of posts on our happenings this summer ((we actually think Ella wrote more)) we’d write one entry outlining our summer of fun!

This week there was a big milestone in the Cook Household…..

One thing I have learned is I must burp in order to get more yummy food. Burping isn’t my favorite thing to do and I don’t think Mommy or Daddy or anyone else who feeds me enjoys burping me. The noise, smell and feeling of having air trapped inside me isn’t fun! I guess everyone reading this knows the feeling though and being that you are all older and eating things a bit more exciting than milk I can only imagine what your burps must smell like! Eeeewwwww

What a day… my first official day not working at AEC, thinking I would get a nice week, or more, before the birth of our little Ella. As we all know, this was not the case. Our little determined Ella decided that a break was not in the cards for her Mommy and decided to make her grand entrance into this world and our lives!

Not even 4 weeks old and our little Ella somehow took control of the laptop and found her way to InsideOurShell and wrote her very first post! Aren’t we the proudest parents – our little one is taking right after us and sharing with everyone happenings of her life!
