Waking up this morning to the sight of white was a normal winter day in my eyes. For one little girl however it was the first time she felt snow.

It’s me again… I find that it is easier for me to high-jack either Mommy or Daddy’s laptop and write these little entries on my own then wait for Mommy or Daddy to write them for me. They are so busy and when they have free time ((when I am sleeping)) they like to spend time together and catch up on tv shows or movies — actually I don’t know what they do, but I find this is helpful to them both if I write about all my adventures… so here we go… my first Christmas and New Years Eve!
I’ve managed to grab some of Ella’s conversations over the last few months and decided to share them with everyone. I think they’re absolutely adorable but then again I’m very bias!
A few weeks ago I came home after a long day of work to Megan having dinner ready. It was simple – pasta with spaghetti sauce – although these days we both try to keep dinner as quick and easy as possible. This allows us to spend as much time with Ella as a family in the evening.
Like most nights, I sat on the floor next to Ella’s play zone so I could be near to her while Megan and I eat and she played. Megan handed me my bowl of piping hot pasta and sauce which I placed on the floor in front of me.
Unknowingly I placed the bowl of lava like pasta sauce in the zone…
On November 20th, 2010 we did something that said we would never do…
Wow, it is hard to believe that a half a year has passed since I was born!!!! So much has happened in those 6 short months, but with each passing day I am learning & developing into such a “grown-up” and loving life more and more!!!
I was advised by many that talking to Ella and teaching her through every day happenings can really aid in brain development and knowledge. My girlfriend Sarah, taught her son Samuel animals and the sound they make by age of 2 ((maybe earlier, not sure)) and his alphabet, which he now can say backwards and he isn’t even 3 yet! She told Josh and myself that she just talked to Samuel and would use simple ways and daily routines to teach him.
