On Tuesday, June 13th 2012 we took Ella and Cooper to Chocolate World for their very first visit! We rode the chocolate tour showing the process and treatment the cocoa beans go through to make all the yummy pieces of chocolate we enjoy! Unfortunately, neither was able to sample the chocolate since the free sample had almonds, but it was still a fun time! We visited the sovereign shop and Cooper picked out a stuffed Hershey Monkey and Ella came home with a Hershey/Reese’s soccer ball!

Mommy’s friend Sarah and her son Samuel came to visit us for a week. The past few days have been great having a playmate a little older than me! We are both learning how to share and I thank Samuel for being the “Big Kid” and giving a little more! We had a fun time together and I hope that we can keep in touch and see each other again real soon!
Thank you Aunt Sarah for bringing Samuel to PA to visit with us for a week!

Sharing one of the most important days of my life with my daughter! I shed a few tears looking back at Our10.11.08! She enjoyed seeing her Mommy and Daddy and other family and friends!!! It was fun watching Ella’s face light up when seeing so many familiar faces in our wedding album. I had our album stored away in a cabinet and have seen it a number of times but always thought Ella was to young to understand. Today I came across it again and thought it would be a perfect day to share one of the most important days of my life with her. Having a “storybook” to show her from start to finish of our wedding day made it so much more enjoyable. I am sure we will continue to look at our album and as she grows up I am sure the interest will fade… but I will always have that look on her face when she saw her Mommy and Daddy in that book for the first time. That will stick with me forever!

Explaining what a shadow is to a two year old takes some skill. Ella saw her shadow this morning and was kinda FREAKED OUT! After many examples (using Ebony, Elmo, Mommys hand) Ella came around to loving her shadow. Unfortunately the sun moved on… Wonder if she’ll remember tomorrow or if I’ll have to start all over again!

At breakfast, Ella said her waffle was an airplane. I asked her who was on the plane. She said mommy, daddy, cooper and Ella. I asked her where we were going. She said Target. IMAGINATION, what an incredible gift!
