New Photo Album

2

So it’s 10 days in to 2009 and beside the [intlink id=”491″ type=”post”]Ebony licking / Happy New Year’s[/intlink] post we’ve given you nothing. No new posts what-so-ever. Well guess what – we’ve been slaving away working on a nice new photo album to hold our memories.  Not only did we move all of the photos from the old album over, but we’ve uploaded all the pictures we have making it 100% up to date ((we hope…)). You may notice that most of the pictures no longer descriptions, that’s just becuase we haven’t gotten around to that yet. We’re working it!

Enjoy!

Ebony officially reached and exceeded her yearly licking limit… Yes, in only 13 minutes. Only if we received one penny for each lick, we’d be billionaires! :p

Happy New Years Everyone!!!

The Kitchen Redo

3

One of the hobbies that Megan and I share is the love of cooking, we seem to have no trouble working together in our cramped culinary quarters. We weave and bend out of each others way without thinking and always offer a lending hand when another kitchen utensil or tool is needed.

But despite our love for cooking and the ease of working together, one thing continues to frustrate us on a continuous basis – our kitchen is small. Not only is it small, but for the longest time almost all of our utensils were shoved into the same drawer. Everything from quarter teaspoon measuring spoons and rolling pins to spatulas to turners ((yes, there’s a difference.  See, spatulas aren’t used for flipping)) were thrown into this almost 10-inch deep cavern of a drawer.

Because our lovely drawer continued to frustrate us almost on a daily basis, we decided something needed to be done. The newlyweds  needed to find a solution and put it in place ASAP!

Mr. Miagie & his Abacus

Growing up in Pottstown The Half Way House was one of the “ritzy” restaurants in the area. Having eaten there a few times in my lifetime, it was a bit shocking to see the place close down. However, what was moving into the old style stone house restaurant looked really interesting, a Japanese – Hibachi Restaurant!

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico – Our Honeymoon

1

Wow a post without a title using Our 10.11.08!!! Let us see how long until it is used within this writing!

With our wedding day and honeymoon behind us looking back has been exciting for both Josh and I! So many fond and everlasting memories, we like to relive many of the moments and happenings both from Our 10.11.08 ((that didn’t take long – ha!)) and our honeymoon. While we relived our wedding day as best we could through Inside Our Shell, we also wanted to write a little something about our honeymoon – Playa Del Carmen, Mexico!

The Wedding Cake Incident at Our 10.11.08

1

We promised we would not use the same naming sequence – “blah from Our 10.11.08” – I did change it up a bit. With the wedding cake being a main focal point of almost every wedding reception, including ours, it only fit to use “Our 10.11.08” for this writing as well!

The incident that occurred involving Josh & I, our photographers Rick & Maria, and our wedding cake still is something we talk about and share with guests at our wedding as well as just a story we like to share because now looking back it was a funny happening and something we both felt should hold a writing of it’s own here at Inside Our Shell.
