Viva Las Vegas

After that long night of drinking we both woke up not feeling that great. After waking up an hour before check out, we managed to shower, dress, pack and organize everything in less then a hour. And oddly enough we didn’t even feel rushed – we really do work well together.

Hailing our last taxi, we head for the airport. Arriving at the airport we noticed that the taxi cost is only $8.35 so we hand the driver a $10 bill. He proceeded to give us a crooked look and mumbles how he forgot to start his timer and that we should be charged more. We offered a couple more dollars, but he responded by saying we should be paying a little under $20. His fault, his loss. Maybe he’ll remember to start his timer next time. Oh, that’s right, Megan distinctly remembers him starting the timer as we were leaving the hotel. He should have just took the extra two dollars.

After checking in at the airport, we made our way through security and decided to get something for breakfast. We both were still not feeling 100% and thought that this might help. After eating we did what we do best – people-watch!

Flight from Las Vegas to Dallas, a quick Pizza Hut dinner, then flight from Dallas to Philadelphia. We landed at about 12:30am Wednesday morning and arrived home around 2am. By 2:30am we were sound asleep.

I believe your vacation was terrific because you were together…… it didn’t really matter what happened around you, because you had a good time together. Try packing a lunch next time! It seemed that all your problems revolved around food, which is a pretty important thing in my book. And Megan….next time it’s Saurbraten or better yet Goulash! And remember…. The “Stars”, all seven of them, work at the buffets or resturants…try the card, may even be free! 🙂
