Children are interesting characters. Last evening Josh worked late and got home after they were in bed so I did our nightly bedtime routine with them both. We had to make a few changes to it...reading a story each picked in our "book nook" upstairs rather than in each of their rooms, said prayer together there too and then each went their bedrooms and I tucked each in and sang each a song. We had no issues and did wonderfully. Tonight since i took both last night the children and i decided last evening that Josh would them both this evening. I helped with the teethbrushing and bathroom stuff but then they were all Josh's. They are funny cause they act out and are so differently with him than with me. They test him and push their limits.

Oh what I day.....after speaking to our Sales guy last evening, we called the Installation Department to notify them of our unhappiness and confusion and that we weren't comfortable with moving forward with the install till our concerns are addressed. The department was closed so this was left as a msg. This morning Josh called back to the Installation Department and spoke to someone explaining the situation again. As Josh is getting ready to take the children to school for the schools Dudes and Donuts Day, the Installation Manager of the install crew called Josh. This resulted in me driving the children to school and Josh meeting me there to switch cars. When I returned home the install crew was in my driveway to collect their tools etc. I stepped out of the car and am greeted with questions. I handled it all the best I could and after the head of the crew calmed down he explained to me why the windows are in correctly and what is causing the difference in the windows sitting differently causing us to lose window sill space. This all results in the old windows being windows that are 15 years old and were new construction windows. They were installed using "frames" (for lack of the proper terminology) which aren't used with replacement windows. Since the "frame" isn't there to hold the window, the window sits back further hence causing loss in sill space. Not the installers fault!!! We blame our Salesman for he should have seen the windows we had when he was here on the sales call. After the measuring department was here measuring for the windows we should have been informed by the company of the huge difference in space that would be losing in sill space. This is something they a company supposedly do. It's funny because our sales guy was to be here the day installation started and couldn't make it. He then spoke to Josh that evening. After Josh saw the issues Wednesday evening he spoke to our Sales guy on Thursday and he started to push the issues onto the install department and told Josh and myself that we should contact them directly as he is sales. He knew we were canceling installation today and didn't let anyone within his company know just said he was going to be going into office early to help resolve the issue. It is now 4:08pm and neither Josh or myself have heard from him. I think he knows he mislead and is wrong and his helpful tips last night was his way of getting the problem off his plate and onto someone else's. So....We are expecting an Install Manager here tomorrow and hopefully can remedy this. Ugh.... exhausted.

Ella woke up she needed to go potty. I told her ok and that we'd just get up as the clock is 4 minutes from 7:00. She goes potty comes back into her room and tells me she's cranky and tired. I looked at her and said that if laying for a whole two minutes will make the difference and make her not tired or cranky she should lay down and I'd sit on her floor till the clock says 7:00. That is what she chose to do. Two minutes have passed....she's still cranky and tired and laid on her bed the whole time saying the clock isn't changing. Glad she decided to lay there. Happy Friday!

Postponed the rest of our new window install scheduled for tomorrow as the windows that were installed Wednesday don't seem to be installed correctly. None of our window treatments fit back in place and the windows are the same size....So there it's obviously a problem. Hoping the Install Manager and our Sales Rep to right by this and fix the problem. Till this is remedied my garage is housing windows, not cars. My children are sleeping blindless rooms = waking up the crack ass off dawn and bad naps. Breakfasts with Sun blasting in our eyes.
