In school this year one of the jobs Ella does from time to time is answer the door at the end of class. She has done this 2 or 3 times since they started doing jobs at the beginning of January. This time I had my camera ready! When they answer the teachers have taught them to say “come in please” 🙂
When having to give directions to our new house I will simply do so by telling our guests to count houses.
Since learning that our new house would indeed be our house I taught Ella to count the houses coming in both directions. Its the 6th house from one direction and the 9th from the other!!!!
Sometimes the smallest things you don’t think will stick are the things they enjoy and love the most!
When I got Ella and Cooper up from their naps, they wanted to play in Ellas room. I decide to do a quick cleaning of Ellas windows. Ella takes off downstairs upset as she wants a book that is down there. I continue with my quick clean and Cooper and I are about to come downstairs and Ella yells up: close my door!
Thanks sweetheart, I think I’ll remember since I’m the one who reminds you to close your door all the time!
You know your children have had a fun Easter when they fall asleep on the car ride home…stay asleep while you carry them into the house and don’t fight ya when you take them straight up to bed!
Coop even started asleep while I changed him into a nighttime diaper!!!
