Taking Ella up to bed, she asked to see my belly button. She calls it a bully button though. Instead of saying bully button she said blueberry button! I asked what she said and she said, strawberry button…it was rather comical! Guess a no nap day = super silliness!
Last evening we took a walk up the street and enjoyed the beautiful evening. Cooper was announcing to us every time he saw a jeep. Its funny how Ella did the same thing when she was his age. He even pointed out the jeep that was her favorite.
This year she could care less about the jeeps, she was more focused on walking the curb and looking for money.
What a difference a year makes!
OMG….I was in the kitchen cleaning up and Cooper was right behind me. I hear Ella in the other room saying:
No Cooper is my book! It’s mine!
I look in at her and she’s pretending Coop is taking a book from her. I asked her what she was doing because Cooper was with me…
SILENCE…
CAUGHT HER!
Is it completely wrong of me as a Mother to give my son two Match box cars that I bought today while at the consignment shop in secret of my daughter?
She gets so much at times that he doesn’t get anything and she’ll play with them too! If I presented them to both of them she wouldn’t let him have either. She’s happily writing with a pen and paper and doesn’t even know he has them.
Hes so happy right now!! It is actually like a part of him knows she doesn’t know.
And before I get this posted she had claimed them both.
Ella is really into the whole “New” house thing…loves driving by it & counting how many houses in each direction approaching it..
The newest thing is renaming of one of the connecting roads to the road we will be living on.
Those of you who are local may be familiar with Bleim Road. Its windy and up and down and when you drive it fast it gives the roller coaster effect.
We have officially renamed it “The Weeeee Road”.
I imagine I will be hearing wwweeeeee for many years to come!
The learning process is so interesting and intriguing to me.
Ella has not learned the word “me” yet….So every time it should be “me” she says “I” instead. I know one day it’ll just change…a switch will go of in her head and the word “me” will be an ongoing word in her vocabulary.
All these small things is what makes children, children. Sometimes I think I’d rather not know the word “me” and some of the other things and words kids don’t know so I could be a kid again!
