On December 16th 2006, Mom, Aunt Diane, Aunt Sandy, Barb, Nikki, and myself took a bus trip with our church to New York City! A day in the city including a show (hence the title of this post “The Drowsy Chaperone“), lunch, shopping (mostly, if not all by me), and browsing, and ending our night off with dinner. What a fun day!
So here we sit on our couch – we are composing this post and all Megan can seem to do is look at her ring, while Josh looks at his beautiful fiancee!
This year we decided to change the traditions we have with both our families and try something new, let’s see how it turned out!
While waiting for Megan to get ready last Wednesday, I happened to glance out the front window and notice two cars parked in front of our driveway. Thinking that they were just getting their mail I decided to ignore them and continue playing with Ebony (Wonder where Floppie is… Maya!). A few minutes later I looked out the window and now the one car was making it’s way into our driveway. After further investigation I realized that these two men were pushing the car. I decided to go help.
Megan and I spent Thanksgiving this year down at my parent’s place in Southern New Jersey. It was nice finally getting to spend an entire holiday with just one set of family instead of having to split the day between two places, two families and two meals.
